Proving it is quite indeed down with ghettofab consumers, the Denver Post proudly announced in a front-page, all-caps headline its intention to show readers “HOW TO PIMP YOUR DORM ROOM!”
The Post’s decorating section promotion asked readers to vote for their favorite “pimped-out” dorm room as decorated by teams who were given $250 to splurge at Target, Cost Plus World Imports and other retailers listed prominently in the story.
The paper palm trees from Party City get my vote. Very blingbling.
