I often caution companies that the Internet age means there’s really no such thing as targeted, privileged communications between management and employees.
Case in point: The Consumerist blog runs an item that opens with, “A former Hewlett-Packard worker could barely wait for their non-disclosure-agreement to end so they could spill 14 company secrets...”
Among the "company secrets" is a potentially devastating allegation that many HP printers have secret counters to make them stop working after a certain number of pages.
