Attention flacks, hacks and brainiacks:
Scatterbox is pleased to announce the Carnival of Image & Influence, a weekly blog digest of news and insights toward understanding, managing and surviving what we in the trenches of the information glut like to call the influence economy.
Have something to add? Submit your most relevant links and well-written perspectives covering any aspect of positioning and communications strategy, corporate and brand reputation, public issues, crisis management, news and social media, stakeholder relations, marketing and advertising.
You can submit material for consideration each week by emailing it directly to scatterbox (at) stevensilvers.com, or by filling out the Carnival of Image & Influence submission form. Either way works.
The first Carnival of Image & Influence will be posted on Monday, June 25. Deadlines for submissions are midnight each Friday to be considered and included in the following Monday’s edition.
Along the way we’ll have guest judges, celebrity contributors, theme parks, downloads and other features to make the Carnival of Image & Influence almost a good enough reason to maybe sort of consider looking forward to Mondays just a wee little bit more. Maybe.
A few house rules for contributors: Everyone is welcome to the carnival — industry pros, journalists, authors, researchers, consumers, officials, activists and opinionated movie stars. No anonymous posts, rumor-mongering, defamation or personal attacks. If your work is on behalf of a client or employer, say so. Don’t bother submitting puff pieces, stock tips, political rants, mortgage advice, sales pitches or canned content.
