Democratic National Convention features a stunning backdrop for its candidate.

The Rocky Mountain News notes that the star of the Democratic National Convention will be the stage itself. More than 600 people working 20 hours a day over several months have created a dazzling, high-tech set worthy of a new president. Or even a Hannah Montana show.

The DNC's 70-foot stage includes 700 lights and three 103-foot plasma video screens.
