Steven Silvers is a nationally recognized public relations and reputation expert specializing in corporate affairs, strategic communications, issues management and crisis response.
Steve has counseled a wide range of companies and organizations, including American Humane Association, CH2M Hill, Chipotle, EAS, Financial Planning Association, Grease Monkey, International Speedway Corp., LodgeNet, New Mexico State University, Nextel Communications, Red Robin, Sundrop Fuels, Vail Resorts, Verio and many others. Among his clients, Steve serves as corporate communications director for a venture-backed renewable gasoline producer now building its inaugural $600 million facility in Louisiana. He also is chief communications officer for Soles4Souls, a Nashville-based international not-for-profit that fights global poverty through the distribution of shoes and clothing.
Previously, Steve was president of ClarusPR, a firm specializing in growth companies that included one of the telecommunications industry’s largest IPOs. He was also a vice president with PR giant Hill & Knowlton, where he spearheaded crisis and controversy management for the launch of Denver International Airport.
Steve graduated from the Navy Photojournalism Program at Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communication and is accredited by PRSA. He is a 1998 graduate of Leadership Denver and served on the board of the Metro Denver Chamber Leadership Foundation.
